PETERS Rick Williams, the area vice president of Synovus Bank for Lee County, has been appointed to the Boy Scouts of America Southwest Florida Council's executive board and is the chair of its 10th annual Boy Scout Golf Classic being held on May 8 at the Pelican Preserve Golf Club.

Kristen Peters and Mario Bringas have joined Synovus Bank as vice presidents, commercial bankers at the bank's Health Park banking center. Ms. Peters brings more than a decade of banking experience to her role at Synovus Bank, having most recently been affiliated with Riverside Bank as senior vice president/ commercial lender. Mr. Bringas joined the bank in 2006 as a credit analyst. Prior to joining Synovus, Mr. Bringas was affiliated with SunTrust Bank as a commercial underwriter.
