Huckabee speaks at upcoming community prayer breakfast

HUCKABEE HUCKABEE Former Arkansas governor, presidential candidate and political commentator Mike Huckabee will be in Fort Myers Thursday, April 30, as the guest speaker at the Community Prayer Breakfast presented by the Community Prayer Breakfast Committee. More than 1,400 people are expected to attend the breakfast, now in its 26th year, at Harborside Events Center in downtown Fort Myers. Tickets are by invitation only and all tickets have been distributed, according to event organizers.

Residents without breakfast tickets can attend a book signing event with Mr. Huckabee at 9:30 a.m. at Harborside in the lobby. He is the author of six books, the most recent being "Do the Right Thing," which spent its first seven weeks of release in the top 10 of

The New York Times Bestseller list.

Huckabee's speech also will be recorded by WRXY Christian TV for rebroadcast on Saturday, May 16, and Saturday, May 23, both at 6 p.m. WRXY can be viewed on Comcast channel 10 in most of Lee and Collier counties and channel 12 in Cape Coral and Punta Gorda. A live streaming video also may be viewed online at www. wrxytv.com for residents in other areas of the United States.
