State of Our Schools Breakfast Is headlined by superintendent
Browder The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools Inc. will have its 18th annual State of Our School Breakfast Friday, May 22.
The event begins with registration and breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by the program at 7:30. It will be held at The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.
The breakfast features Dr. James Browder, superintendent of schools. The event gives Dr. Browder the opportunity to address the business community on the progress the school district has made this past year and his vision for the 2009-2010 school year. His presentation promises to be both entertaining and informative as the superintendent chooses a theme each year.
Major sponsors of this year's event are: GATES, Southwest Florida College, Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union & Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.
Contributing sponsorships are available for $700, which entitles a sponsor to six seats, recognition in the written program, during the event, on the power point and the Web site.
Individual tickets are $35. Contact the foundation to reserve a seat.
