PR association announces winners of Image Awards

The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association announced the winners of its Local Image Awards competition — "Super- Powered PR."

The Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the FPRA to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to both encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in the state.

Winners of the 2009 Local Image Awards are:

Division A - PR programs

In addition, the Southwest Florida Chapter presented four scholarships to the 2009 Annual Conference, Florida's premier professional development opportunity for public relations professionals. Scholarship winners were Jessica Clark, APR; Phyllis Ershowsky, APR; Tina Haisman, APR, CPRC and Karen Ryan, APR.
