Firestone recognizes local firm with quality award

Firestone Building Products Company, LLC, recently named West Coast Florida Enterprises, Inc. a winner of the 2009 Firestone Partner in Quality Award. The local firm earned the award for its expertise in high-quality roofing installations over the past year.

"West Coast Florida Enterprises, Inc. is among a select group of contractors recognized with Firestone's Partner in Quality Award for their outstanding longterm roofing performance and dedication to roofing system excellence," said Tom Walker, vice president of sales and marketing for Firestone Building Products. "We are pleased to congratulate West Coast Florida Enterprises, Inc. for their outstanding work and commitment to quality."

The Firestone Partner in Quality Award recognizes contractors who installed a minimum of four warranted Firestone roofs in each of the past five years, maintained at least one million square feet of Firestone roofs under warranty, and achieved an annual Quality Incidence Rating of 2.0 or less. The Firestone QIR measures each contractor's quality performance based on warranty repair incidences per million square feet under warranty.
