Artwork to be displayed at Relay for Life

The Lee County Alliance of the Arts and Young Artists Awards Program and The Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Program at the Children's Hospital have partnered to add an artsy vibe to the second Relay for Life at Centennial Park, downtown Fort Myers.

See the inspiring youth work at the Relay for Life's opening ceremony, beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 1 with the survivors' "victory lap" and the caregivers' lap. A luminaria ceremony

will begin at 9 p.m. where people can purchase bags in honor of a survivor or in memory of someone .

Stop by anytime during the 18-hour event where teams of 10-15 people commit to walking throughout the night. Cheer on the teams and see artwork from patients of the Children's Hospital, Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Program, brought to you by the Lee County Alliance of the Arts and Young Artists Awards Program.
