Stock Development posts strong march sales

Stock Development continued its 15 month-long sales surge with a strong new home sales report for March. For the month, Stock Development sold 58 new homes at its communities of Lely Resort, Paseo and Vivante, more than doubling January and February's sales.

According to Brian Stock, CEO of Stock Development, the company's sales volume totaled $20.5 million, a more than $12 million increase over the previous month, for an average sale price of $354,000. Lely Resort led the way with 36 new home sales.

"March was a good month for Stock Development with all three communities registering double digit sales," said Mr. Stock. "Homebuyers recognize the value of homes in our communities and were especially pleased to see a high percentage of buyers were people returning to our sales center a second time after looking at the entire marketplace. Buyers have never been more educated about the market."

Stock Development is building homes in three of Southwest Florida's most beautiful communities and has a wide variety of furnished models on display.

"In March we opened four additional models at Paseo, bringing the total number open to 18," Mr. Stock said. "At Lely Resort two new golf cottage models debuted in the Cordoba neighborhood, giving us a total of 35 models in the community."

Paseo offers flats and town homes in 14 designs, as well as six casita floor plans. These award-winning homes range from 1,200 to more than 2,000 square feet under air. Two neighborhoods of single-story, two-story and courtyard-style single-family homes are also available. Floor plans range from 1,649 to just over 3,000 square feet under air plus attached two-car garages.

Vivante offers two- and three-bedroom condominiums with 1,485 square feet to 2,500 square feet of living space and prices ranging from $149,990 to $499,990. Harborfront units are priced from just $299,990.
