Commercial property firm joins Cushman & Wakefield
New firm to expand scale and services to businesses in the SW Florida region
Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately-held commercial real estate services firm, and Commercial Property Southwest Florida LLC, a fullservice commercial real estate services firm focused on the Southwest Florida area, announced an agreement for Commercial Property Southwest Florida to become a member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance Program.
The Cushman & Wakefield Alliance Program is an association of 24 leading regional commercial real estate firms in U.S. markets considered of strategic importance to Cushman & Wakefield's platform and its clients. On a global basis, Cushman & Wakefield operates 230 offices in 58 countries.
The launch of Commercial Property Southwest Florida represents a transition for the firm's founders and brokerage professionals from a wholly-owned Cushman & Wakefield office to an Alliance office. The move enables Cushman & Wakefield to maintain the high level of service to its clients in the Southwest Florida region, while enabling Commercial Property Southwest Florida to pursue expansion plans throughout the region.
The new company plans to expand the firm's office and industrial brokerage team, as well as grow the firm's service offering to provide retail brokerage services. With the formation of the new firm, Commercial Property Southwest Florida has also added to its management team, with the addition of Greg Morris as president. Mr. Morris will also continue to serve as executive vice president of Private Equity Group, a leading private equity firm headquartered in Fort Myers.
"Commercial Property Southwest Florida combines superior local talent with the services of a premier global real estate firm" said Gary Tasman, executive director of Cushman & Wakefield's Fort Myers.
