Classical No, 5 - Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts presents "Classical No. 5: Beethoven's Immortal Fifth,'' conducted by Jorge Mester, Thursday, March 26, through Sunday, March 29. Beethoven's "Fifth Symphony" is perhaps the most recognizable of all classical compositions, with its famous four-note "Fate" motif. 597-1900 or www.thephil.org.

Free Concert - A fee community concert, "Sounds of the Big Band,'' is set for Saturday, March 28, 4:30 p.m. at Estero Community Park, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. No tickets or advanced reservations are required. This performance is part of Arts in Estero 2009, celebrating artistic diversity in the Estero community. Prior to the Gulf Coast Symphony's performance, families may bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a full day of continuous entertainment beginning at 11 a.m. Art exhibits, food booths, information booths, art for sale and demonstrations are among the many activities planned for this event.
