Invitational Exhibit on tap at BIG ARTS Founders Gallery

Artwork by Randon Eddy, Don Hogg, Ernesto Masis, and Peter Zell will be on exhibit at BIG ARTS Founders Gallery Saturday, April 4, through Friday, April 24. An artist reception and awards presentation is Saturday, April 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The exhibit will have works in several mediums, including watercolor, oil, steel sculpture, and mixed media. All works are for sale.

Randon Eddy finds a constant source for inspiration in the wildlife surrounding her in Southwest Florida. Eddy has completed the Master Naturalist course and participated in workshops sponsored by Rookery Bay Coastal Training. With her artist's eye, using acrylics and watercolor, she is able to translate what she sees into wonderful depictions of life around her.

Sculptor Don Hogg creates welded work celebrating the creation of new life for abandoned tools and discarded scraps.

A native of Costa Rica, Ernesto Masis has been exhibiting his art since the age of 15.

Peter Zell has won awards for his paintings, including four Art League of Fort Myers shows. He has exhibited three paintings in the Southwest Florida Artists Association Winners' Circle show.

Founders Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Phillips Gallery hours are 1 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
