'It's Twilight Time' to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of Lee

The third annual "It's Twilight Time" event to benefit The Boys and Girls Clubs of Lee County will take place on Sunday, March 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. This year the event will be held on First Street, in the Fort Myers River District.

The event is an extravaganza, celebrating great food and fine wines from around the world. Specialty cocktails, desserts, and chocolates from Norman Love will also be offered. Beer and soda will be available.

More than 30 of the area's finest restaurants will be participating.

Live entertainment from the band BUNCHE will fill the fabulous evening under the stars with its great R&B and rhythmic classic rock sounds. Those in the VIP area at the Sydney and Berne Davis Art Center will enjoy the sounds of the well known Danny Morgan Jazz Trio.

All the above is included in the ticket price: a donation to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lee County.

"We are very excited about the new venue for our event. We have a lot more flexibility and will be able to accommodate a larger crowd," said Greg Brock, co-chair of the event. "Downtown offers an ambience that will enhance the whole experience. We are very pleased to have the support of the Downtown Redevelopment Agency and the use of the Sydney and Berne Davis Art Center as our VIP hospitality area. It is delightful evening of gourmet indulgence, accompanied by an excellent selection of wines and other beverages, and good entertainment. As in the past years, attendees will have a wonderful experience, while supporting the kids in our community who really need our help."
