Foundation Fighting Blindness to hold 3rd annual VisionWalk

The Foundation Fighting Blindness Inc. will be hosting the third annual Southwest Florida VisionWalk on Saturday, March 28, beginning at 9 a.m. at Lakes Regional Park. All funds raised will go toward the fight against retinal degenerative diseases such as macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa.

The event is open to the public and will feature entertainment and familyfriendly activities. With the support of many generous individuals and organizations, the walk raised over $44,000 in 2008. In 2009, the Foundation hopes to raise over $60,000.
