. Compass Construction Inc. has completed construction on a new 27,477- square-foot patient-care facility for Hernando Pasco Hospice. This facility includes 24 resident-care rooms, support areas including eight administrative offices, a spacious lobby, full-service kitchen, two dining rooms, a community meeting room and three laundry rooms. The building is situated on 8.5 acres with landscaped grounds that offer fountains, screened sitting areas and gazebos.

. J.L. Wallace Inc. has started construction of a new SunTrust Bank at Coconut Trace, 3501 Vanderburg Way, in Estero. The project includes the construction of a 3,773-square-foot branch bank building with extensive glass work, an elevated entry, concrete roof tile, foam moldings, precast medallions, cultured stone accents and extensive landscaping. Architectural design services are being provided by Robert Reid Wedding Architects and Planners, AIA, Inc. and CPH Engineers, Inc. are providing engineering services. Harold Morgan will serve as senior project manager with Jim Ruby as superintendent and Brad Kaaber as project manager assistant.
