FGCU Collegiate High School taking applications for fall classes

The Florida Gulf Coast University Collegiate High School is now accepting applications for its fall 2009 class. The Collegiate High School is a unique early admissions program limited to approximately 35 students from Southwest Florida.

High School students who are entering junior or senior years in the fall are eligible to apply. Acceptance is based on a completed CHS applications packet, GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, and an interview. If accepted, students complete the 11th and 12th grades on the FGCU campus in University classes.

Tuition and books are free and students may earn up to two years of college credit while completing high school graduation requirements.

A public information meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 19 in Academic Building V, Room 112.
