Fort Myers Chamber hosts real estate showcase this weekend

Local real estate brokers, developers and builders will come together at Harborside Event Center Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with their properties on display for one-stop shopping.

"This is all about everything real estate," said Tom Hoolihan, owner of Tommy Hoolihan Real Estate and Lifestyle Center and president of the board of directors for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. "If you're thinking about purchasing property in this area, you need to attend this show. We have real estate from gated communities, retirement homes, single-family homes, new construction, re-sale properties, condos and waterfront homes, lots, acreage — you name it, we've got it and representatives will be on site to accept offers and write contracts. We also have insurance, mortgage, remodeling, landscaping and real estate tax experts presenting free seminars both days. This is the Chamber's way of helping everyone get through these challenging economic times. We're getting the product and the buyers together in one place for convenience and efficiency. We expect to see many sales during these two days."

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is also free. There will be raffle prizes given away each hour of the show. For more information, contact the Chamber at 332-3624 or go to www.fortmyers.org.
