Man-eating plant takes over Schoolhouse Theater Stage

A forbidden romance, an evil dentist, a man-eating plant from outer space; these are just a few of the many twists and turns that await you in "Little Shop of Horrors."

Playing at The Schoolhouse Theater, "Little Shop of Horrors" opens March 12 and runs through April 4.

"Little Shop of Horrors" features all the reasons to love musical theater — catchy songs, tons of energy, quiet romantic moments, horticultural horror, and a standout cast of characters.

In this gleefully gruesome musical, you'll meet Seymour, who is seduced into playing nursemaid to a maneating plant from outer space. As the plant grows and grows, so does Seymour's affection for his co-worker, Audrey.

Will Seymour and Audrey get to spend their future "somewhere that's green" or will the plant's plan of world domination come to fruition?

Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children 16 and under. Call the Box Office at 472-6862 for tickets or visit www.TheSchoolhouseTheater. com for more information.

The Schoolhouse Theater is located at 2200 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
