Florida Gulf Coast University Lutgert College of Business is hosting the second annual Southwest Florida Investment Forum event, sponsored by The Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Naples, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, in the Student Union ballroom. Southwest Capital Bank opens new Pine Island branch
Southwest Capital Bank has opened its newest permanent banking facility at 5551 Sunset Lane, St. James City. The bank has been operating from a temporary location since October 2007 while awaiting the construction of the permanent facility. Full Story
TechXPO III showcases local technology
The third annual TechXPO, short for technology exposition, will be held March 12 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Fort Myers-Estero, 10450 Corkscrew Commons Drive in Estero. The only one of its kind in Southwest Florida, TechXPO was created by the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce to showcase innovative technology companies in Southwest Florida. Full Story
