Southwest Capital Bank opens new Pine Island branch

COURTESY PHOTO Southwest Capital Bank opened this new banking facility on Pine Island. Southwest Capital Bank has opened its newest permanent banking facility at 5551 Sunset Lane, St. James City. The bank has been operating from a temporary location since October 2007 while awaiting the construction of the permanent facility.

The new bank will offer full-service banking with safe deposit boxes, two drive-up lanes, a 24 hour ATM and a night depository for after-hours banking. Although the building is new, customers will be greeted by the same staff led by Elsie Stearns, assistant vice president and branch manager. A grand opening celebration is planned for later this month.
