Meet the artists at Arts for ACT
Oil on canvas by Patricia Mulko Message of an Angel Join Arts for ACT Gallery Friday, March 6, from 6-10 p.m., for the March "Meet the Artists" opening reception. Featured artists are Otto von Kotzebue, Gloria Audo, Patricia Mulko and Carol Siegel.
In Germany, the name von Kotzebue is associated with culture and creativity, adventure, travel and with intelligence and style. This name fits Otto von Kotzebue, who is an architect, engineer, designer and painter. Mr. Von Kotzebue has lived much of his life in Germany and Italy, but his paintings reflect a love of America. This unique and creative exhibit of late 20th century paintings shows his love for New York, Manhattan and Chicago, as well France, Germany and Italy.
Gloria Audo is Argentinean by birth. She studied under master painters Ponciano Cardenas and Carlos Canas. Since 1978, she has participated in more than 50 exhibitions in Argentina and abroad and received many awards and prizes for her paintings. She also paints murals in factories and in sport centers and illustrates literature books.
Patricia Mulko was born and raised in France and her work has been exhibited all over Europe and in New York as well as Southwest Florida. She paints in a passionate way that allows her to transmit her emotions to people with whom she will never have direct contract.
Carole Siegel's art is uncluttered and dramatic in its elegance, depicting the many facets of the female psyche. This is achieved with clean, direct,
almost childlike simplicity, but with depth of meaning that is intuitive and visceral. Imagination, color, shape, line and texture are captured in her art. Her mission is to inspire females to follow their passion, listen to their hearts and reach for the stars.
The public is invited to view the art from these four artists and enjoy light refreshments. Arts for ACT Gallery provides a quality, contemporary exhibition gallery featuring original art, limitededition prints, giclees, hand-crafted fine crafts, T-shirts, silver and glass bead jewelry, gourd art, raku, clay, and art cards.
