La Casa del Arte welcomes 'Simply Peru'
Opening reception March 6 during monthly Art Walk
COURTESY PHOTOS Examples of the Peruvian art on display at La Casa del Arte. The exhibit opens March 6. The artwork of seven internationally renowned Peruvian artists will be on display at La Casa del Arte for two months.
The exhibition is the art and soul of Latin America, with works ranging from paintings, sculpture, to incredible handmade Peruvian jewelry. The following participating artists all have various pieces in the show: sculptor Marcelo Wong, and painters Hernan Sosa, Eduardo Tokeshi, Joseph Firbas, Miguel Wetzell, Rosa Tello, and Victor Cadillo.
This Peruvian perspective will be on display for March and April with the opening reception on March 6 from 6 to 10 p.m.
La Casa del Arte is located at 1803 Hough St., across from the new Butterfly Estates. The gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Owners Greg and Jessamin Knezevich will also be happy to make an appointment for a private showing.
