Art book store now open

The William North Gallery has launched The Art Book Store, devoted to the painting arts, in Gannon's Antiques & Art Mall in South Fort Myers. The store offers new, used and rare art books at discount prices. Inventory includes coffee table books, biographies, "techniques of the masters," histories, theory and basic how-to instruction books.

The gallery, which features the oil paintings of William North and the pottery and clay jewelry of Ludmila Evans, is located in Gannon's Mall, 16521 South Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. For book store information, call 437-9757; for directions, call 489-2211.
