Spay Day USA set for Feb. 24

Lee County Animal Services encourages all pet owners to observe Spay Day USA on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The annual campaign of The Humane Society of the United States is held each year to inspire people to save animal lives by spaying or neutering their pets.

In Lee County, Animal Services has a program for all income levels so all pet owners, regardless of their financial situation, can have their pets sterilized. To learn more about the benefits of spaying and neutering or for information on Lee County Animal Services Low-Cost Spay/ Neuter Program, available throughout the year, visit www.LeeLostPets.com or call 533-7387.
