On Saturday, Jan. 31, the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts celebrates its 20th anniversary with a celebration gala starring Michael Bolton and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. The Phil officially opened its doors Nov. 3, 1989, with what was then called the Naples/Marco Philharmonic performing Stravinsky, Wagner, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. Full Story

Mrs. Edison's Hymn Sing set for Feb. 3
This year's event will include three performances
Celebrate the Edison Festival of Light and help feed the hungry by attending "Mrs. Edison's Hymn Sing" Tues., Feb. 3, at The First Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers. It's the 20th year of the hymn sing that has attracted larger audiences each year. More than 4,000 people attended last year when two performances accommodated the standing room only crowd.
