RICE nine local Florida Bar board-certified lawyers who earned the designation in 1983 and have maintained their status for 25 years. The Florida Bar is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its legal board certification program. Starting with just two specialty areas in 1983, it has expanded to 22 today, The specialization program has distinguished by offering the greatest number of state-approved certifications in the nation. Mr. Rice, who is certified in construction law, business litigation and civil trial law, is one of only 16 of 86,000 Florida attorneys, who are certified in three legal specialties.
