HAGAN

John Hagan, an estimator with Stevens Construction, has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional certification from the Green Building Certification Institute. Mr. Hagan's certification demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of green building practices, principles and the LEED rating system. The LEED program is a nationally accepted standard for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Mr. Hagan has a bachelor of science in building construction management from Purdue University.

Tom Werle, piping superintendent at B & I Contractors, Inc. has been named an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector. The American Welding Society is the largest organization in the world dedicated to advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied processes, including joining, brazing, soldering, cutting, and thermal spray.

As a certified welding inspector, Mr. Werle will perform inspections and verify that the work conforms to the applicable standards.
