Pick up some tips at happy hour with the designers at IDC

Meet your husband or wife or date at the Symphony Society Designer Showcase for "Happy Hour" in the Designer Showcase at the International Design Center, Thursday, Jan. 29, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event is hosted by Christina Parker and Kim Wittstadt, several designers will be there discuss how they weave their magic to transform an empty space into a place of beauty and interest in the Showcase. Learn some of their secrets. Ask them questions relating to their special area of expertise. Learn more about the room he or she designed. Take home some tips on how to make changes you want in your home.

Wine, cheese and fruit will be served.
