Cicinelli The American Society for Training & Development honored Linea Cicinelli, vice president for training and development for Bank of Florida Corp., with the 2008 Trainer Excellence Award. The chapter, which includes the five-county Southwest Florida region, gives the award annually to recognize the delivery of training in an innovative, motivational and inspiring way. Ms. Cicinelli, who joined Bank of Florida in 2006, facilitated more than 700,000 hours of training during the last 18 months.

Robert B. Bassett, Colonial Bank's area president for Lee and Collier counties, has been selected to serve on the 2009 board of directors for the Lee Building Industry Association. The Lee BIA is a nonprofit organization providing technical assistance, information and educational services to members of the building industry throughout Lee, Hendry and Glades counties. Mr. Bassett has nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry. He is a graduate of the New England School of Banking and the Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma.

Bassett
