'Breakfast with the Blades' coming up at Germain Arena

The Lee Memorial Health System Foundation will hold a "Breakfast with the Blades" event Sunday, Jan. 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in The Cypress Club at Germain Arena in Estero to raise money to expand the Children's Hospital neo-natal unit.

Guests will be treated to a full hot breakfast and have a chance to spend time with and get autographs from members of The Florida Everblades' hockey team.

Special Guest Host David Moulton, of "Miller & Moulton in the Afternoon," will emcee the event. The event will feature a fantastic live and silent auction with hand signed one-of-a-kind items from NHL Greats Sidney Crosby, Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on a chance to play golf or have dinner with an Everblades' player, enjoy a shopping and dining experience courtesy of Gulf Coast Town Center, or take home a hand-signed copy of New York Yankees' star Alex Rodriguez's children's book entitled, "Out of the Ballpark," an inspirational story about children facing challenges in their life.
