COURTESY PHOTO Park Center COURTESY PHOTO Park Center J.L. Wallace Inc. has completed construction of Park Center, 8255 and 8267 College Parkway in Fort Myers. Park Center consists of two 15,000-square-foot, two-story buildings. The first floor of the 8255 building is a state-of-the-art surgical center for the Center for Surgical Procedures for Dr. Jonathan Daitch and Dr. Michael Frey. The second floor will accommodate the new medical offices of Advanced Pain Management and Spine Specialists. The 8267 building will house the new Southwest Florida Oral and Facial Surgery Center. Fred Barry of J.L. Wallace served as senior project manager, Dennis Tyeryar was the project superintendent, and Robbyn Spears was project manager assistant.

Cement Industries Inc. has completed construction on Biscayne Hall, a 125,000-square-foot student housing project at Florida Gulf Coast University. The five-story total precast building, which was completed three weeks ahead of schedule, will welcome more than 400 students in 2009. Cement Industries also constructed Everglades Hall, the prototype for this new housing, which opened in 2008 and received a Best of 2008 College/University award from Southeast Construction Magazine.
