New physicians join Lee Memorial

Lee Memorial Health System announced the following physicians joined the medical staff last month:

Ihsan Alsalman, D.O. - Emergency medicine, obtained his osteopathic degree from Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotation internship at UMDNJ Kennedy Memorial Hospital and an emergency medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr. Alsalman is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine and is joining Cape Coral Emergency Physicians.

Kathleen Cook, M.D. - obstetrics/ gynecology, obtained her medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed an obstetrics/gynecology residency at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Cook is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will be joining Physicians Primary Care effective January.

Tanja Mani, Ph.D. - psychology, obtained her psychology degree from the University of Georgia and a psychology internship at the University of North Carolina. She also completed a Neuropyschology Fellowship at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Mani is joining Lee Memory Care.
