Hall Hall The Lee County Board of County Commissioners has appointed Commissioner

Tammy Hall as chairwoman of the Tourist Development Council.

Commissioner Hall was previously TDC chair in 2005-2006 when she took a stewardship position along with the TDC on water quality issues. Prior to being elected to the Lee County Commission in 2004, Commissioner Hall served on the Fort Myers City Council for four years. She has owned her own marketing consulting firm, Hall & Company, since 1994. Her clients have included local businesses and retail establishments, as well as clients in regional and international markets.

The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, representing The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel in Southwest Florida, has appointed Erick Garnica tourism sales manager. Mr. Garnica will develop and implement sales programs for the international and wholesale markets and will act as the primary in-house resource for the VCB's current international sales offices based in London and Germany. Most recently, he worked as the marketing coordinator at Coral Hospitality in Naples, where he was charged with analyzing the effectiveness of the company's marketing materials, as well as coordinating all aspects of the marketing plan.
