Christie Knight of Preferred Choice Realty Group has been selected as president-elect. The other officers for 2009 are: Gary Verwilt, treasurer, Realty Executives Southwest Florida; Kevin Williamson, secretary, Realty World-C Bagans First; and Ron Carpenter, past president, Realty Executives Southwest Florida. Additionally, the following individuals have been elected to serve a two-year term as directors: Jeanne Armin, Coldwell Banker Residential Realty; Marion Briggs, Sun Country Realty of Florida; Connie Gustafson, Prudential Florida Realty; Marge Mathers, Red Diamond Realty; and Deborah Murray, Century 21 Prestige Realty. Directors completing their two-year term are: Dave Duffy, VIP Realty Group; Terri Lodge, Century 21 Sunbelt Realty; Cindy Roberts, Realty World Roberts; and John Toney, Century 21 Sunbelt Realty.

Realtor Bob Prange has joined VIP Realty Group, Inc. of Fort Myers, announced practice manager Robin Driskill. A member of the banking community for 45 years, Mr. Prange brings his years of banking experience as well as expert negotiating skills to buyers and sellers with their residential real estate needs.

The CCIM Institute's Southwest Florida District recently elected its 2009 officers. Randy Krise, CCIM, owner/ broker with Krise Commercial Group, was elected the district's 2009 president.

Andrew Falde, CCIM, investment specialist with Colliers Arnold, was elected vice president; Adam Palmer, commercial specialist with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, was re-elected treasurer; and

Enn Luthringer, CCIM, office/investment specialist with CB Richard Ellis, was elected secretary. The Southwest Florida District encompasses Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, and Hendry counties with the mission of providing the highest quality networking, marketing, and education opportunities to enhance its members' ability to successfully conduct commercial real estate business.
