Junior Achievement names advisory board

Ryan Ryan Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida announces its Business Hall of Fame Advisory Board co-chairs and members for 2009.

The 2009 advisory board's co-chairs are Ed Ryan, manager of marketing and energy services for Lee County Electric Cooperative, and Richard Durnwald, president of Northwestern Mutual/Durnwald & Associates Inc.

Other members selected to this year's board include: Cliff Chaipel, principal at LarsonAllen; Marcia Hobe, senior vice president of U.S. Trust, Private Wealth Management; Steven Pontius, executive vice president and general manger at Waterman Broadcasting; Richard Riley, executive vice president of FineMark National Bank & Trust; Scott Roberson, director for Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc., Robbie Roepstorff, president of Edison National Bank; Laurel Smith, partner, Gravina, Smith & Matte Inc.; Dilman Thomas, executive vice president and director of client relations for Oswald Trippe and Company Inc.; and Grover Whidden, former regional external affairs manager for Florida Power & Light Company.
