Appointment-only boutique to open doors to public Dec. 18

Janet Marie Studios plans to help the holiday shopping challenged with an open house on Thursday, Dec. 18, from noon to 7 p.m. The Fort Myers-based clothing boutique located in Royal Palm Square is normally open by appointment only, but on this "open door day" it will be open to the public, with special presentations on great gifts to give and receive at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

"We want to help significant others take the stress out of their holiday shopping," said owner and stylist Judy Starnes. "The Janet Maries Studios team will be on hand to help select and wrap the perfect gift for all the women in your life.

"The best clothes and accessories for gifts are those key pieces that make everything else in your wardrobe work together," said Ms. Starnes. "I've put together a Top 10 of my favorites that I'll talk about on the 18th."
