Habitat for Humanity adds maintenance division

Habitat for Humanity of Lee County is increasing its production in the community by adding a new maintenance division to its home-building experience. The additional department is available for maintenance needs throughout Lee and Hendry counties.

"We added this new division to employ our current Habitat homeowners who have been subject to the economic downturn and are vulnerable to losing their homes without the income," says Trisha Goins, Habitat's vice president of communications.

The new division will offer lawn-mowing services at monthly rates; and $60 for a double lot, $70 for triple lots. All others will be assessed below market value. Habitat is also offering cleaning services and other handyman tasks. "Basically, describe your need and Habitat for Humanity will provide a professional, free estimate for the project," ssaid Ms. Goins.

For more information on how to hire the Habitat for Humanity maintenance crew for your needs, call the Habitat office at 652- 0434, ext. 1208.
