The Winners' Circle Exhibit in Phillips Gallery, a bi-annual Art Council of Southwest Florida event, presents the paintings, collage, photography and sculpture who have won major awards in the previous two years at BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery.

• Thursday, Dec. 18, from 1 to 5 p.m. in Boler Garden

BIG ARTS Instructors and their students will sell artwork and present live art demos at the Holiday Bazaar

• Thursday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. in Phillips Gallery

Gallery Talk with artist Leo Johnson, hosted by the Sanibel-Captiva Art League. Mr. Johnson is Artist in Residence for the University of South Florida and teaches 20th Century Painting at the Alliance for the Arts. He will talk about the history of art from the traditional and academic to the avant-garde.

• Thursday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Phillips Gallery

Awards presentation and artists reception for Art Council of Southwest Florida's Winners Circle. This exhibit is open through Jan. 2. The 50 award-winning artists represent the 12 Art Leagues from Punta Gorda to Marco Island. Phillips Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.
