Mediation service opens in Cape

Etta Kohl and two associates have recently opened a new business called Mediation Advantage, Inc. located in Cape Coral. The mediators, Kelly Denmark, Brittany Price and Ms. Kohl, are all certified mediators.

Ms. Kohl has owned and operated an accounting business in Cape Coral for many years and has realized in this turbulent economy the need for mediation. If two parties have a conflict, often mediation is a much more effective method to resolve their differences, instead of costly lawyers and litigation, and the time involved in the court system. Mediation is also less formal and therefore less intimidating than court and appearing before a judge. In virtually all cases, court-appointed mediation is mandatory before seeing a judge. With Mediation Advantage, people can have more control and select their mediator, instead of a court-appointed mediator.
