Stock Development readies new model center at Paseo

Nine new, furnished flats and townhome models will be open for the upcoming winter sales season, said Anthony Lucas, vice president of sales for Paseo,.

"The new Paseo model center is conveniently located adjacent to our on-site sales center immediately north of the sales center," said Mr. Lucas. "Altogether we will have 15 new furnished models across all of our residential offerings open within 60 days."

Flats and town homes, including two- and three-story designs, are available in 14 floor plans with two, three and four bedrooms and two or three baths. These homes range from 1,227 to 2,084 square feet under air and include one- and twocar garages. The unique orientation of the homes provide a safe place for children to play and it creates a sense of community as neighbors congregate on their porches.

A successful year of sales at Paseo prompted the decision to invest in a new model center.

"Through October, we have had well over 100 new homes sales, several of which were our furnished models," said Claudine Léger-Wetzel, vice president of sales and marketing for Stock Development. "More than 3,500 people have visited Paseo's models and the Village Center Amenities so far this year and we anticipate similar traffic next year so we decided to build a brand new model center complex to be able to fully showcase our unique floorplans."

Ms. Léger-Wetzel added that Paseo has received a lot of attention in 2008, having won Community of the Year from the Building Industry Association for the second year in a row, as well as 21 Pinnacle Awards for product design, Clubhouse of the Year and Developer of the Year honors.

Paseo also offers six casita floor plans ranging from 1,531 to 2,080 square feet under air. Each casita features two or three bedrooms, 2½ or three baths and two floors of living. The casita blends the ease and luxury of maintenance-free living with the privacy of a single-family home in residences that are built around a common driveway. Furnished casita models are open and four additional models are under construction.

Prices at Paseo begin at $199,990.
