Commissioner Judah to discuss county goals at REIS meeting
Judah Lee County Commission Chairman Ray Judah will address the challenges and priorities facing Lee County government in the year ahead at the Real Estate Investment Society's Dec. 9 luncheon meeting.
The main focus of Commissioner Judah's presentation will be the county's budget and property taxes. He is expected to discuss the impact of the Babcock development, impact fees, and zoning and development moratoriums in Lehigh Acres and the DR/GR area. On other matters of interest to the business community, Commissioner Judah will update the REIS membership on local government's efforts to develop a new baseball stadium and solve transportation concurrency issues. He will also be asked for insight on issues that REIS should monitor during the coming year. Following the presentation, Commissioner Judah will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry.
The meeting is sponsored by ISOOSI Communications, and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve's Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
