BCB Homes' Montelena, a custom single-family model home now under construction in Mediterra, will showcase an outdoor lifestyle with more than 1,400 square feet of alfresco living space and views of water and nature preserves.

Construction of the four-bedroom, 4 1/2 bath model, in Mediterra's Marcello neighborhood, is expected to be completed in June 2009.

Mediterra is the 1,697-acre masterplanned community created by Bonita Bay Group in North Naples.

The Montelena will have 5,287 square feet of interior living space, and 7,894 total square feet, including a large lanai, entry terrace and garage. It will offer a great room, a study and a wine room. One of the three guest suites will have a private entrance and terrace.

The kitchen will offer a large walkin pantry and top-end appliances, and the home will feature a whole-home sound system and flat-screen TVs in the great room and study.

The Montelena's master suite will have Kohler's DVT II showering system, which sets water to lights and music. Users will be able to program spray, steam, lighting and music to their preferences.

The 973-square-foot lanai will have a summer kitchen and roll-down screens controlled by a touch panel. The custom-designed pool will offer a sun shelf and spa, glass tile and water jets and will be surrounded by a quartzite stone deck. Built-in planters and a trellis will accent these outdoor areas.

The Montelena has been designed to green building standards and will be certified as a green home by the Florida Green Building Coalition.

It will feature interior design by Godfrey Design Consultants, and it is expected to be priced at $4.25 million, fully furnished.
