Robb & Stucky Interiors has recently completed the installation of 26 units for one of Hilton Grand Vacations Company's vacation ownership resorts at South Seas Resort on Captiva Island. Michelle Taylor Perry, ASID, and Jan Walker directed the redesign for Plantation Beach Club Phase II, giving the two-bedroom, two-bath units a new, soothing tropical appearance. Full Story

Ken Buschle, head of quality control and specifications for Gora/McGahey Associates in Architecture, has been selected to speak at the 2009 Florida American Society of Landscape Architects conference. Paul Frankl led modern-style furniture era
Modern-style furniture was first designed in the 1920s but did not become "mainstream" until the 1950s. Paul Frankl, one of the famous modern designers, was born in Vienna in 1886, moved to New York in 1914 and later to Los Angeles. IDC showrooms auction trees
The International Design Center will host a "Home for the Holidays" event beginning Friday, Nov. 28, and running through Saturday, Dec. 13. Each showroom within the International Design Center, including California Closets, will have the opportunity to decorate its own tree, wreath or tabletop decoration to auction off to the highest bidder.
