Holliday Edison State College announced that Matthew Robert Holliday has been named the new district director of governmental relations. Mr. Holliday will serve as the college's chief legislative officer, working with local, state and federal lawmakers on behalf of Edison State. He earned his bachelor's degree in social science from Florida State University and holds an associates of arts degree from Edison State College.

Edison State College also welcomed Catherine Bergerson as the district director of marketing and communications. Ms. Bergerson will oversee every aspect of the district's marketing and public relations efforts. She holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor's degree in American studies from the University of Kansas.
