Nutcracker Boutique adds to holiday fun at the Phil

Visit the Philharmonic Center's special Nutcracker Boutique, featuring beautiful holiday gifts and decorations, at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts from Nov. 25 through Nov. 30 (closed Thanksgiving Day). A variety of items guaranteed to get you into the holiday spirit will be available, including trees, wreaths, candles, angels and more. Admission is free.

The Boutique will be open in the Dome at the Naples Museum of Art as follows:

Tuesday-Wednesday, Nov. 25-26, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 29, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 30, noon-9 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 28 is also free "Family Day" from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Nutcracker Boutique, with events for all ages, including Santa and Mrs. Claus distributing gifts, face painting, a balloon artist, a magician and more. A small complimentary continental breakfast will be available from 10-11 a.m. Lunch will be available to purchase at the Garden Café from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Nutcracker Boutique and Family Day are presented by the Naples Philharmonic League, with all proceeds benefiting the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and its youth music education programs.

As your day of shopping comes to an end, take in a holiday family favorite with George Balanchine's "The Nutcracker" performed by Miami City Ballet, with live accompaniment by the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. "The Nutcracker" returns for four performances on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $59 for adults and $25 for students.
