Meet the artists at Florida West Arts

The Florida West Arts Showcase at the International Design Center is hosting a meet the artist reception for husband and wife artists Celeste Borah and Carl Schwartz from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 The public is invited and admission is free.

Ms. Borah is a graduate of Pratt Institute and was an art director for advertising agencies and retail outlets in New York City.

Mr. Schwartz is a nationally recognized painter and print maker. For 30 years this award winning artist taught figure drawing and painting in Chicago.

The Florida West Arts Showcase at the International Design Center is at 10800 Corkscrew Road (Suite 105) in Estero. Complimentary valet parking is available.

The Showcase is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
