Griffith Kathi Griffith has joined the Fort Myers sales office of RE/ MAX Realty Group as a residential associate. Ms. Griffith has been a real estate professional since 2003. Her specialties include residential single-family homes, condominiums, and vacant land, primarily in Cape Coral and Fort Myers. She is a Florida licensed real estate agent and a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc.

Denny Grimes, president of Denny Grimes Company, recently spoke at the Star Power Real Estate Success Summit in Minneapolis, Minn. He has more 25 years of real estate experience and has sold more than a half billion dollars worth of property in the past seven years. Mr. Grimes' presentation addressed the importance of pricing property effectively in a buyer's market. He stressed the significance of Realtors going beyond simply listing a property and instead acting as a "counselor" to individual sellers, builders and developers. Grimes Grubb Ellis/1st Commercial announced that Rich Sommerville, certified land specialist, has joined the firm. He has been active in Florida land sales since 1987. Prior to joining

Grubb Ellis, Mr. Sommerville worked 12 years with a large international commercial real estate company, where he was named No. 1 producer globally in 2002 and No. 4 producer globally in 2004. He was a member of the Legend Society, an organization that represents the top half percent of associates worldwide.

Lindsey Schmoyer has been named broker associate on the commercial real estate brokerage team at LandQwest Commercial. Ms. Schmoyer has been serving the community as a licensed real estate broker associate since 2006. Spe- cializing in national and regional retail tenant representation, she has worked with clients including The D'Jamoos Group, Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries, Dunkin Donuts, Planet Beach Contemporary Spa and Rudinos.
