Burr Dr. Wayne M. Burr, M.D., Concierge Internal Medicine, announced that he is now seeing patients in Bonita Springs, at 23451 Walden Center Drive, Suite 400, across from Coconut Point in Estero. Dr. Burr, board certified in internal medicine, and the first comprehensive adult concierge practice in Southwest Florida, also has an office in Fort Myers.

Dr. Alexander M. Eaton of Retina Health Center and the Macular Degeneration Research Center, has worked since last year to persuade the American Society of Retina Specialists to support a position paper on the use of off-label Intravitreal Avastin (Bevacizumab) to treat conditions other than wet macular degeneration. The paper has now gained the support of the ASRS, the largest group of retina specialists in the world.
