New artists at Risings Stars

Rising Stars Art Studio, Inc. in Cape Coral has three new exhibits coming up.

"Dragonflies," created by metal sculptor Steven Swenor, are symbols of harmony, good fortune and serendipity. The opening reception is Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. The show runs through Nov. 30.

The December exhibit is "Sacred Places," a rare display of icons and traditional frescoes by internationally award-winning artist Cindylee Alexander. The opening reception is Friday, Dec. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. Ms. Alexander's exhibit runs through Dec. 28.

On Friday, Jan. 9, Carl E. Schwartz's "Natures' Abundance" will be on display.

Studio hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The studio is located at 5781 Cape Harbour Dr., #105 in Cape Coral. Call 541- 9992 for information.
