Eligiti Dr. Aparna Eligeti has joined Physicians'
Primary Care of Southwest Florida. She practices obstetrics and gynecology at the Cape Coral OB/ GYN Office at 1265 Viscaya Parkway, and at the Lehigh Acres OB/GYN Office at 3507 Lee Blvd. She is accepting new patients.
Dr. Eligeti received her M.D. degree from the University of Florida, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key National Honor Society. She served her residency at S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. She is bilingual and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Prior to joining Physicians' Primary Care, she practiced medicine in Naples and in Tampa.
The Lee Memorial Health System Foundation announced that Amanda Cross of Sanibel will replace outgoing Board Chair Elaine Hawkins of Fort Myers. The LMHS Foundation nominates a new chairperson every two years. Ms. Cross has an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and has been a resident of Sanibel Island since 1988. She is vice president of CWC Software, Inc. a Boston-based company she co-founded in 1987. CWC Software, Inc. develops software for the printing industry. Additionally, Cross was a 15-year member and former president of The Canterbury School Board of Trustees and remains active in its fundraising efforts.
