Youth ballroom dancing program

Cindy-Lee Overton, founder of 1st Danz of Fort Myers, has a new youth ballroom program for children aged 10 to 14. Classes will focus not just on the basics of social dance, but on developing selfconfidence and teaching boys and girls to interact with each other with courtesy and respect. Scholarships will be available so that the program is accessible to all.

The Youth Ballroom Program kicks off Saturday, Oct. 25, with a free lesson from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Bell Tower Shops. Meet by the fountain.

Youth Ballroom classes begin at the 1st Danz studio Sunday, Nov. 2. The eight-week course will run on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuition costs just $65, and financial help is available.
