Tillis Patti Harrison, a sales associate at the Cape Coral office of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, has earned the Senior Real Estate Specialist designation. A national program since 1998, the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council offers the designation to identify those members who have successfully completed its education program

along with other prerequisites.

David G. Tillis, general manager for new market areas for

Bonita Bay Group, has been appointed to the Real Estate Advisory Board of University of Florida Center for Real Estate Studies. The advisory board is an elite group of approximately 145 senior real estate professionals who participate in all facets of the real estate business. Based in St. Augustine, Tillis joined Bonita Bay Group in January 2007. A 30-year industry veteran, Tillis has overseen the master planning, DRI preparation and entitlement process for numerous large-scale, mixed-use projects.

Kalka Boback Commercial Group at RE/ MAX Edge recently hired the following: Paul Kalka, commercial advisor, is a Florida-licensed real estate associate and a certified building contractor. Mr. Kalka previously owned a general contracting company and is now focusing on commercial real estate.

Sarah Copeland, business and marketing manager, is responsible for facilitating the day to day operations within the office as well as the marketing of properties, graphic design, media relations, print and Web advertising, company signage, and research.

Copeland Taylor Morrison has named Heather McLeod and Liza Friedman sales associates for Tortuga, a 46.9-acre community of Bermudian-inspired garden homes located off Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers. Ms. McLeod has been a sales counselor specializing in new home sales since 2006. She is a Florida-licensed real estate associate and has lived in Southwest Florida for more than 17 years. Ms. Friedman has been a sales counselor and real estate sales associate in Southwest Florida since 2005. She attended the Ed Klopfer School of Real Estate and is a Florida licensed real estate associate.
